My brother-in-law, Kriss, and an all-girl band called Venus Butterfly (they would've made a lot of guys I know salivate) performed at a launch party for Absolut Vodka, held in Bed Supperclub. He gave me two invites so I took my friend, Josie, along. Heaps fun and yay for free booze.

Such a heartbreaking story but shows how awesome some people can be. We need more people like Muelmar Magallanes in the world. He's a real hero.

At CB's wedding reception, there was a photobooth thingy. My friends and I loved it, being the camwhores that we are. And the snaps we got were way cute! Posting the rest soon.

I cheated and put more than one song for most of them. I have several different movies playing in my head. I threw in a couple of cliches in as well hahaha.

And on a semi-related note, I would totally name the movie of my life "The Product". For several reasons.

My girls & me (plus a blurry Chi in the background) photoboothing it up on Kassy's Macbook in CB's Waterfront suite the night before her wedding. I wish I was a gazillionaire so that I could put my friends on a plane to Bangkok.

And I'm back on LJ. I knew it was only a matter of time before I went back to using this thing. It's still the most reliable form of blogging. For me, at least. Plus, this journal holds so many memories for me! I've had it for years.

So here's the update on me: I'm currently in Bangkok, Thailand. I've been here since my 21st birthday, which was a month and a few days ago. I'm going to be here for another few months. I quite like Bangkok but I really miss my friends. I pass the time watching shows & movies, taking photos, editing, searching for new music, occasionally trying to write something substantial. I go out sometimes. Basically I'm a nerd that stays in most of the time and life is nothing exciting at the moment. Planning to go back to school when I'm back in Philippines.

also, i've been 20 for five days now and i still don't like it. and last night i watched "the dark knight" and was blown away by heath ledger's performance.

since was feeling particularly annoyed with someone at six in the morning, i decided to take my irritation out on my hair with a pair of scissors NOT meant for cutting hair. so say hello to uneven and curly bangs that always look different and are extremely hard to control!

my first attempt at HDR. i'm terrible, i know...but will keep trying anyhows. that's the upou campus, where i was the other day...as geeky as it sounds, i can't wait for school to start.

the other night, i went to 6underground with fatih to watch paraluman perform, along with other bands such as updharma down, greyhoundz and typecast.

the paraluman boys are awesome, and so is fatih, because she stayed up with me until sunrise in mcd's, swapping stories and reminiscing about road trips and whatnot.

and if you're living in philippines...vote for paraluman's debut music video "emily" on myx by texting MYX VOTE EMILY to 2366. and if you're in metro manila, there's a benefit show on may 31 that you should go to; venue is 58 pansol street, barangay pansol, katipunan, quezon city. paraluman and heaps of other bands will be playing, the entrance fee is 150 (inclusive of one free drink) and it starts at 6pm. it'll be fun. :D

i do love going to the beach. i just wish they weren't so far though! i totally regret all the times that i lived a mere 15 minutes away from a beach, when i was still in hk, and never bothered to go a lot. most of the times that i found myself on the beach near me was whenever i fell asleep on the way home and ended up there, because the bus route ends there as well. anyways! when i become all rich and all that jazz, i will definitely get myself a comfy beach house. and stay there every summer. hurrah! a girl can dream. :P

Oh, and by the way, I don't work for Starbucks anymore. Yup. I quit. But I miss making drinks, and I miss the people I worked with. Even though...I don't think I will ever go back to being a barista. I guess I couldn't take the physical stress that comes along with the 10-hour shifts, and the emotional stress that comes from dealing with some truly rude, ungrateful morons. Well anyways! As they say, when one door closes, another opens. Right? Right!

OH! But I was certified a Coffee Master right before I left the company, so hurrah! Here's me on my second to last day at work:
